And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God,
which is indeed at work in you who believe.
The New International Version (1 Thess. 2:13). (2011)
This Sunday will be a special Reflection Gathering.
We hold firmly to the beautiful truth of the priesthood of all believers—that every follower of Jesus is called, gifted, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to build up and encourage the body of Christ. Each of us has a story to tell of how God’s Word is at work in our lives.
We want to invite you to take some time this week to prayerfully reflect on how the Lord has been speaking to your heart through our study of the book of Revelation. As you feel led, come ready to share how His Word has brought comfort, conviction, encouragement, or renewed hope. This is an opportunity for us to give thanks together for the living Word of God and to lift high the name of Jesus, who is faithfully at work in His people.
When we hear how God’s Word is moving in one another’s lives:
Truly looking forward to what the Lord will do as we gather and share together this Sunday.

When we hear how God’s Word is moving in one another’s lives:
- It helps us see things we might have missed as we’ve journeyed through Revelation.
- It strengthens our faith, reminding us that God’s Word is powerful and always accomplishes His purposes—whether to bless, to correct, or to stir us toward faithfulness.
- It reminds us that we’re not alone, but surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on in the race of faith.
- And it deepens our love for one another as we recognize the many ways God is at work among us each week.
Truly looking forward to what the Lord will do as we gather and share together this Sunday.
As you get ready for our Reflection Gathering, here are a few ways you can prayerfully prepare your heart and thoughts for our time together:
Our prayer is that as you prepare, the Spirit would bring to mind those moments and truths that have most deeply touched your heart—and that together we would glorify Christ for the way His Word is bearing fruit among us.
- Read or listen to the Book of Revelation. Let it's words remind you of who Jesus is and what He has promised.
- Listen or watch one of the sermons from Revelation
- Take time to read over the notes you may have taken. You might be surprised at how the Lord has been speaking to you over time.
- Reflect on how God has used the book of Revelation in your life during this season. Has it brought comfort in hardship, encouragement in waiting, or conviction toward deeper faithfulness? How has Jesus been magnified in your heart and in your hope?
- Finally, ask yourself, how has Jesus been magnified in your heart and in your hope through this journey
Our prayer is that as you prepare, the Spirit would bring to mind those moments and truths that have most deeply touched your heart—and that together we would glorify Christ for the way His Word is bearing fruit among us.
